Have you been feeling sluggish and lethargic? Maybe you are feeling a bit low and are struggling to find motivation. Alternatively, you may be looking for an effective and safe way to prepare for and cool down from vigorous exercises such as running or cycling.

Moving our bodies is essential for us to stay in great mental and physical health. However, with many of us having desk-based jobs and the increased use of technology, it is all too easy to spend longer than we should be sedentary. Spending too much time sitting can lead to our muscles starting to weaken and can have a detrimental impact on both our mental and physical health. Regular physical activity helps us to feel happier and healthier and reduces the risk of developing a number of chronic illnesses. Moving our bodies also helps our bones to become stronger, and improves our balance and coordination. It is important to carry out some movement before vigorous exercise to increase the blood flow to the muscles in order to warm and loosen them, which helps to prevent soreness and injuries. Moving our bodies following a workout is also important to reduce the build-up of lactic acid which can lead to aching and stiffness.

Expect to walk away from classes feeling energised, positive, and ready to take on anything. You can also expect to develop a strong body and mind, and build your self-esteem.
